Our client is a leading Branded Player within the FMCG arena, they operate across several categories within the retail market and they stand at either 1st or 2nd in every specific fixture in which they operate. Their 5 year plan is simple and yet immeasurably challenging, to transform the very way in which their Categories are “defined” and “shopped” by the retailer and consumer alike. In order to assist in the delivery of this, they are seeking to appoint a Head of E-Commerce & Digital Shopper- Sales & Marketing
As the Head of Digital Shopper/Customer Marketing you will take the Lead in the development of the Digital Shopper & Customer Strategy and vision to influence channel development including range, E-Space and Shopper Marketing plans. By heading all Digital Strategic Reviews you will identify the consumer drivers and formulate the shopper plans. You will also be challenged with growing the "Core" business YOY through Commercially astute Digital Customer plans alongside the development of longer-term Customer Marketing solutions. Not for the faint hearted, your leadership ability will be utilised through managing the leading E-Taliers and thus being the driving force of several matrix management projects.
Develop & deliver a Shopper Mission based on the E-commerce strategy.
Lead and grow the pure player E-Tailers & Develop the full Company Digital Plan
Develop E-category management strategy & capability, online visibility & shopper understanding
Lead the development and execution of the shopper investment strategy for categories, delivering against key business targets.
Drive collaboration with colleagues in sales, category marketing and finance to optimise promotions and shape investment priorities
Participate in key global project. Trade promotion management and trade promotion optimization program & Digital & e-commerce
Lead a Matrix Team of Shopper Marketing Manager & Grow the Team over time
Provide whole Digital/On-Line analysis, recommendations and advice based on solid insight internally and externally always championing what is best for the channel.
Develop long term independent partnerships with key customers contacts – Proactively leading Digital Category meetings E.G. new buyer inductions, performance updates, range reviews, E-Store trials and ad hoc projects.
Provide clear useful and unique insight internally and externally from advanced insight/ analysis, generating ideas that will drive growth or address performance issues for the channel.
Champion the Digital Vision and contribute to the annual planning process, clearly guiding strategic direction for your accounts.
Champion Data/Insight Usage - Utilising all available data sources
Create up to date Shopper & Customer plans and develop Strategic Customers Development Plans.
Whilst the ideal candidate will have ideally gained a strong level of exposure to Shopper Marketing or Insights within the Digital Channel.
*The client is open to candidates who may have gained Digital Exposure across the any one of the following Channels & Functions: (Digital Experience is a Must)
FMCG, Consumer Durable, Agency, Retailer or E-Tailer etc
